Revealing everything by doing nothing
The criminal begins his victim selecting process with an elimination process that rates a person’s potential through the way that they stand, walk, and sit.
As petty as this may sound, believe me that it is an accurate way to profile if a stranger may be weak or strong.
The way that we stand can reveal to strangers that we are afraid, lost, upset, inebriated, aware, sick, injured, stressed, and more.
And revealing the wrong thing to the wrong person at the wrong time, in the wrong place, is not a good idea.
Invoke Emotional Intelligence
It is important that we don’t “wear our emotions on our sleeve” or openly express our emotions publicly especially if we are emotionally weak.
Walking around in public while upset, emotional, or distraught is equal to that of a wounded, bleeding animal venturing out into the wilderness.
Appearing weak publicly invites harm not salvation. Be strong in public to keep predators off of your scent.
